Being a shop that welcomes custom orders has it's advantages, the first being the amount of scrap material we can then design a new product around. Such was the case when we found ourselves with long, beautiful oak cutoffs from a hotel gig we did last summer. Where another shop might just cut them up and toss them away, we decided to put our heads together and see if we couldn't come up with a better idea and I think we did just that. The tables are made using live-edge hardwood cutoffs, the bases are steel and the 1/2" glass (either clear or smoked) has been tempered to prevent against breakage.
