We're lucky enough to work with more than a few general contractors and demo companies who keep us in the loop when prime lumber comes available. We recently got our hands on some 200 year-old oak beams that we've been milling down, the tables and cabinets we've been building have been absolutely beautiful and we thought we'd make them available here.
Tops are reclaimed oak, the legs are blackened steel welded right here in our BK shop. Each tree and therefore each piece of lumber is different, so your table with have just the right amount of unique characteristics. We finish each top with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax, the steel gets a clear-coat to protect against future rusting, there are levelers on each foot for those of us with imperfect floors.
We're a built-to-order fabrication shop so message us if you want this piece to be modified -- bigger, smaller, different legs, etc,. All items are handmade at the time of purchase, due to overwhelming demand we ask for 10-12 weeks lead time (rush orders available for an upcharge). You can pick-up from our workshop or you can choose delivery to NYC for $50-100 depending on location, message us your zip code for an accurate shipping quote.
