FAQ

What do you do?

Recycled Brooklyn is a built-to-order fabrication firm. Every product you see was custom-built in Brooklyn using recycled materials. The company has standardized an assortment of designs and sizes, which are encouraged to be inspiration for you.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Due to a deep production queue as of Summer 2016, we have a minimum 12-week lead time for all orders - custom or standard, large or small.

What are my options?

We offer 3 surface texture gradients, depending on how much of the inherent wood grain you want to feel: Old Surface (completely rough), Skip-Planed (mixture of texture and smooth), and Clean-Planed (completely smooth). All textures are sanded to ensure that you don't get any splinters.

We offer 5 stain options: No Stain, Antique Walnut, Provincial, Dark Walnut, and Ebony. [Reference photos to be added shortly.]

Is all of your reclaimed wood the same as pictured products?

No; each piece is custom and different. Due to the nature of reclaimed material, color, texture, and inherent character of wood, will vary. Cracks and knots are always present and should be expected. We accommodate customers' preferences, but we are not to be held responsible for nature's agenda.

Do you make CAD files or other resources for detailing the specs of the listed products?

Yes, we offer CAD drawings starting at $150 per project.

What are my payment options?

We accept Paypal, dead presidents and process credit cards through Square.

What is your return policy?

Given the nature of custom work, Recycled Brooklyn is not liable to offer a refund for furniture order if the project has been started. If you have placed an order, but we have not yet started the build, we can offer a full refund (minus a 10% return fee and any charges that we incurred during the process).
