Do you have clothing? Do you need somewhere to keep your clothing? Unless you're a nudist the answer is undoubtedly yes, you're going to get a dresser anyway so why not get one that was built by hand? Using reclaimed materials? In Brooklyn??
Our single column Brooklyn dresser is made using material cut from the floor beams we salvage all over greater NYC. We lay complimentary pieces over a cabinet-grade birch frame, it's not as big (30 x 18 x 48 tall) as our standard dresser but it'll do the trick. The drawers open on standard furniture slides and the base is a welded steel design of our own, we finish each dresser with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax. The steel gets a clear-coat to protect against future rusting, there are levelers on each foot for those of us with imperfect floors, I defy you to find something nicer.
We're a built-to-order fabrication shop so message us if you want this piece modified -- bigger, smaller, different legs, etc,. All items are handmade at the time of purchase, due to overwhelming demand we ask for 10-12 weeks lead time (rush orders available for an upcharge). You can pick-up from our workshop or you can choose delivery to NYC for $50-100 depending on location, message us your zip code for an accurate shipping quote. Due to overwhelming inquires, please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
